Roof Pro - Mercy, Mercy
The boys came out swinging last night scoring 9 runs in the first inning vs the Wankers on a grand slam by Dustin Abbatte, followed by solo shots by John Nau and Joe Capobianco. Despite giving the runs back over the next two innings, panic never set in and Roof Pro kept swinging, eventually winning by a run rule.
In game two, Roof Pro found themselves down 7-0 after the top of the first. No problem. Diamond Dave Stein belted a 3 run blast as the boys answered with 6 runs. The hits kept on coming, as John Nau (his 3rd on the year) and Joe "Sorry Guys" Capobianco added solo shots. Ed "Real Men Hit Inside the Park Home Runs" Russo and Joe "Triple" Noviello added hit after hit as the boys cruised to a 20-8 victory. Even the ol coach joined in, going 7-7 for with a walk (and a stumble).
Roof Pro is now 3-1.
