Roof Pro - Opening Night (May 2nd)

The boys from Roof Pro started the year off in shocking fashion, giving up 5 runs in the 1st inning and 4 in the 2nd en route to a run rule loss to the 4 Baggers. In game two, the bats came alive, the defense showed up and the incomparable Mr. Hall pitched a beauty, holding them to 4 runs as Roof Pro evened their record at 1-1 with a 16-4 win.
Big game offensively for Joe "I'm Really only 27" Noviello who was 4-4 on the day and John Nau who crushed a Home Run in game 2.
Play of the game was a smoking line drive off the glove of Pitcher Rhett Hall that was caught by 2nd Baseman Rob Foley for the out.
As always, thanks to Coach Rick for providing post game beverages and for Eddie "my bowling and batting averages are the same" Russo for showing up with an extra supply after the game.
Next Game...
Wednesday May 9th, 7:00 Cantiague "A" vs the Wankers.
Coach Carroll
